"Rocky's new CD highlights the reality that today the future is wide open for Rocky Burnette. He's proven that he's a great songwriter and a hit maker. As a live on stage performer he continues to be a force to be reckoned with." ~ Dennis De Witt, BLUE SUEDE NEWS

"The Son Of Rock And Roll" lives, and he is fresh out of studios in the United States and Holland with some hot new recordings that should soon be exciting old and new fans alike.

With recordings that include his most exciting "crossover" material since he first burst on the charts, The Rockman is ready to not only rock us again, but also charm the romantic and sentimental world wide with the lovely, thoughtful, heart-fulling strings of "Nothing But Time," an original composition he recently wrote with John Heron.

That Burnette magic is clearly still there in this new collection of hit-potent recordings which not only offers other originals like "If It Takes All Night," but also Rocky's memorable rendition of the first smash hit for his legendary father, Johnny Burnette, "Dreamin'."

With his rockin' Amsterdam-based trio (L to R: Marcel Verbass, Robert Van Driel seated, and Robert Van Dristen), The Rockman has also recorded some kickass Rock 'n Roll which also features vocals by Van Driel and some guest appearances.

"Really," explains Rocky, "we have two different, great CD projects happening right now. One is a 100% Rocky Burnette CD, and the other is a Rockband project with the great guys I have been touring Europe with for several years. That one also has some guest appearances on it."

Rocky and this tight trio of his have not only toured to sell-out audiences throughout Europe, but Rocky even brought in the rhythm section of Verbass and Van Dristen into the United States for some extensive touring in support of Paul Burlison's "Train Kept A-Rollin'" CD.

Rocky, of course, has also been continuing the Burnette family tradition of great songwriting over recent years, remaining a popular songwriter. Percy Sledge scored a European hit in 1997 with Rocky Burnette's "You Got Away With Love." Shakin' Stevens had British action last year with Rocky's smash "Tired Of Toein' The Line," which the NFL has also used. Not only do other recording artists continue to record Rocky Burnette songs, but Rocky's music has also been an integral part of the soundtrack of many movies with big stars, such as "Private Lives" with Liza Minelli, Jim Beluchi and Robert Wagner, "Speed Zone" with John Candy and others, "Meatballs III," and a lot of others, including a recent Matt Dillon movie.

Happy, screaming fans in Spain.

With these new recordings, Rocky Burnette is ready to soon be back on the road making worldwide fans happier than ever.
